2IMS30 (2021-GS3) Advanced Network Security
The goal of the Advanced Network Security (ANS) course is to show how Network Security is managed and orchestrated in contexts different than traditional IT systems, when different kinds of constraints prevent the application of standard security approaches. The course investigates the security in Internet of Things (IoT) deployments, covering various enabling technologies (including Bluetooth, Zigbee, IEEE 802.11 and Cellular networks) and protocols. The course also explores additional application domains, including security management and techniques in GNSS systems, Cyber-Physical Systems, Avionics, and Maritime Systems, including the application of Machine Learning approaches for security.
